This pricing structure applies to England & Wales, Scotland prices on application.

This is a guide only, each survey will be competitively priced.

Type I Surveys Premises >1000sm Premises >500sm & < 1000sm Premises < 500sm
Commercial - Public Buildings, Offices, Care Homes & Shops etc £0.34 per sm plus VAT (no samples) £0.39 per sm plus VAT (no samples) Min charge of £195.00* plus VAT (no samples)
Factories and Industrial Price on application depending on building use and type, but in the order of £0.25 per sm plus VAT (no samples) Min charge of £195.00* plus VAT (no samples)
Type 2 & 3 Surveys Premises >1000sm Premises >500sm & < 1000sm Premises < 500sm
Commercial - Public Buildings, Offices, Care Homes & Shops etc £0.44 per sm plus VAT including samples £0.49 per sm plus VAT including samples Min charge of £285.00* plus VAT inc. 3 samples
Factories and Industrial Price on application depending on building use and type, but in the order of £0.30 per sm plus VAT including samples Min charge of £285.00* plus VAT inc. 3 samples

Please note:
  • Economy of scale discounts may be given to clients with multiple sites.
  • Prices based on surveys in normal working hours with samples taken during this time.
  • If the client wishes surveys and or samples 'taken out of hours' this will incur a 15% surcharge
  • Type 1 Survey has limited practical use. The survey assumes all suspect materials contain asbestos, this can result in significant unnecessary expense for the client on subsequent maintenance works
  • Prices are based on the provision by the Client of schematic or layout drawings of the building. If these are not available there will be a small surcharge for PHH to create same.
  • * On minimum fee work we reserve the right to charge reasonable disbursements and travel time. Extra over rate per laboratory sample £12.00
