Environmental Due Diligence

The objective of our associates EDD service is to provide and implement solutions for identified issues, and thereby assist in the completion of transactions.
We offer pre-acquisition / pre-divesture environmental due diligence advice focused on identifying and characterising key material issues relating to both current operations and historical site activites.
The findings of our assessments are presented in a clear and comprehensive report concluding with a pragmatic commercial opinion and recommendations for appropriate management strategies and improvement / remediation works as required.
Reporting to International Standard ASTM E1527-05 (as applicable to local regulations) is also available.

Environmental Property Management

Effective Environmental Property Management allows property owners to:
Address any identified residual environmental liability and best practice / compliance issues (related to both the site operator/tenants and the site owner);

Establish good management practices which may assist in attracting potential investors and occupiers;
Demonstrate active environmental risk management to investors and debt providers; and
Ease the divestiture process.

Our associates EPM service is tailored to specific client requirements and is supported by an on-line database which provides a full record of the environmental information relating to each asset. The database demonstrates active management of assets and through the reporting facility can provide real-time status reports for individual assets or overview reporting for a specific fund or group of assets.
The database is accessed via a secure password protected website and has the ability to be used as an on-line data room; access can be provided to third parties and extensive viewing restrictions can be imposed on individual users as needed.

Environmental Compliance Auditing

Our associate’s team are experienced in the provision of Specialist Environmental Compliance Reviews and have provided assistance at facilities ranging from simple manufacturing operations to complex oil refineries.

Whether auditing as part of an internal review programme or as part of a transaction process we can provide clear and reliable advice on regulatory compliance issues.

Environmental Permitting

Our associate consultants have assisted with environmental permitting projects for a wide range of clients and operations. During the permitting process we work closely with both the operator and relevant authorities to ensure the success of the project, be it a permit application, amendment or surrender.

Contaminated Land

We offer a range of services from limited Desk Based Reviews to Full Phase I Assessments with site inspection.

We ensure an appropriate scope of works is in place to achieve client specific objectives and provide clear interpretative reporting.
